Rasheed Rancher is in his third season with the Rams football program and will serve as the wide receivers coach.

Rancher joined the Rams coaching staff in 2011 after an outstanding career at the University of Massachusetts Amherst as a wide receiver.  Rancher was a 2007 CAA second team wide receiver.  He finished his career as a Minuteman ranked third in career yards per catch (18.5), fourth in career receiving yards (1,794), tied for third in career touchdown catches (16) and tied for tenth in career catches (94). 

As a senior, Rancher was just the fifth UMass receiver to surpass the 1,000 yard receiving mark in a year.  Rancher appeared in two NCAA Tournament games with UMass in 2007 making 13 catches for 341 yards including an eight catch, 198 yard and two touchdown performance in a first round victory over Fordham.
