42 Rams Named to Fall 2011 MASCAC All-Academic Team
Buzzards Bay, Mass. — A total of 500 student-athletes, including 42 from Framingham State University, have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference with selection to the league’s Fall 2011 All-Academic Team as announced by MASCAC Commissioner Angela Baumann.

Wenham, Mass. – The Framingham State University field hockey team was defeated in non-conference action tonight at Gordon College by a score of 2-1.  The Rams suffer their fifth straight loss of the season and fall to 1-5 on the year, while the Fighting Scots improve to 3-6.

Nashua, N.H. – Junior Samantha Bark’s (Belfast, Maine) goal 19 minutes into the first half stood up as the eventual difference maker and the Daniel Webster field hockey team held off a furious second half Framingham State rally to nip the Rams, 1-0 in a non-conference match up Tuesday at Harvey Woods Field.

Field Hockey Projected to Finish Tenth in LEC Preseason Poll
Framingham, Mass. – The Framingham State University field hockey team has been picked to finish tied for tenth in the Little East Conference (LEC) field hockey preseason poll in voting conducted by the conference’s twelve coaches. The Rams received 47 total points and tied for the tenth spot with Worcester State University.
