Holliston, Mass. – For the Holliston girls soccer team this week marked the beginning of a new season, one that will inevitably feel different than the past eight years have felt. Now former coach Kristina Kern has accepted the head women’s soccer coach job at her alma mater – Framingham State – leaving behind a Panthers program she led to four Tri-Valley League titles from 2006 through 2013.

Kern Tabbed as Framingham State University Head Women’s Soccer Coach
Framingham, Mass. – Framingham State University alum and member of the FSU Athletic Hall of Fame Kristina Kern has been named the head coach of the Rams women’s soccer program as announced by Athletic Director Tom Kelley this morning.

Rams Finish Third in Final 2013-2014 Howard C. Smith Cup Standings
Westfield, Mass. – The Framingham State University Rams finished third in the 2013-2014 Howard C. Smith Cup Standings. Bridgewater State University won the Smith Cup that is awarded annually to the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) member institution that compiles the most points based on the placement of each of its programs competing in the 15 league championship sports.
