Korn and Saliu Finish Third and Fourth at St. Joseph’s Blue Jay Invitational

West Hartford, Conn. - Sophomore Michelle Korn (Cortlandt Manor, NY) finished in third place and freshman Valbona Saliu (Worcester, Mass.) finished in fourth place today the St. Joseph's College Blue Jay Invitational in West Hartford. 

Korn finished the 5K course in a time of 26:07 and crossed the line just ahead of Saliu who also clocked in at 26:07.  Both runners were just over four minutes behind the race winner Ashley DeBella from St. Joseph's College (CT) who finished in a time of 21:46.

The Framingham State men's cross team was off this week, but both the men's and the women's teams run again next Saturday, October 10^th at the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State College.
