42 Rams Named to Fall 2011 MASCAC All-Academic Team
Buzzards Bay, Mass. — A total of 500 student-athletes, including 42 from Framingham State University, have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference with selection to the league’s Fall 2011 All-Academic Team as announced by MASCAC Commissioner Angela Baumann.

Women's Cross Country Finishes 8th at MASCAC Championships
North Dartmouth, Mass. - Westfield State claimed its eighth straight Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Cross Country title with a 28-point victory over runner-up Worcester State in the 27th Annual MASCAC Championship race that took place Saturday morning as part of the 15th Annual New England Alliance Championships on the campus of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

Men's Cross Country Places 7th at MASCAC Championships
North Dartmouth, Mass. - Westfield State captured its 24th Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Cross Country title with a six-point victory over defending league champion Bridgewater State in the 41st Annual MASCAC Championship race that took place Saturday afternoon as part of the 15th Annual New England Alliance Championships on the campus of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

Springfield, Mass. – The Framingham State University women’s cross country team placed 12th and the men’s placed 14th at the Western New England (WNE) Invitational on Saturday afternoon. WPI captured the top spot in the men’s race, while Westfield State placed first in the women’s.

Cross Country Competes at Worcester City Meet
Paxton, Mass. – The Framingham State University women’s cross country team placed 4th in the women’s race and the men’s team also placed fourth in their race as WPI captured the top spot in both races at the Worcester City Meet that was run at Moore State park this morning in grueling conditions.
