Bio

Matt Baker is in his 12th year with the Framingham State University Athletic Department.  In the fall of 2007 he took over as the Rams equipment manager and is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the equipment, uniforms and athletic facilities for the thirteen varsity programs. 

Baker served as the Athletic and Recreation Center assistant building manager and intramural coordinator from 2001-2007.  In that position, he oversaw the creation and implementation of the campus intramural sports program in conjunction with the opening of the new campus Athletic Center. 

A 2001 graduate of Assumption College, Baker has spent time on the baseball and basketball coaching staffs at his alma mater, Ashland High School, as well as working as an assistant coach with the Post 77 Ashland legion baseball team.  Baker spends time each summer as an instructor at the Tri-Valley Baseball Camp.  

Baker completed work on his master's degree in Public Administration at Framingham State in May 2012 and is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Human Resource Management.  Baker resides in Holliston with his wife, Amy, daughter, Emma, and son, Christopher.
