LoGuidice and Costello Earn MASCAC Baseball Weekly Honors
Framingham, Mass. – Sophomore starting pitcher Vincent LoGuidice (Billerica, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Baseball Pitcher of the Week and freshman outfielder Shane Costello (Wilmington, Mass.) has been named the MASCAC Baseball Rookie of the Week for the week ending March 19th.
LoGuidice earns his first Pitcher of the Week honor after tossing 4.1 scoreless innings in the Rams 10-0 victory over New England College on Friday. LoGuidice allowed just three hits with two walks and seven strikeouts as he recorded his second victory of the season on the mound.
Costello earns his first Rookie of the Week honors after batting .579 (11-19) with two doubles, six RBI, six walks and eight runs scored in a 3-3 week for the Rams. Costello went 3-for-3 with a double, six RBI and four runs scored in a victory over Albertus Magnus. He went 3-for-5 with a double and a run scored in the 10-0 victory over NEC and added two hits with a run scored in a loss to Albertus Magnus.
