Boyle Tabbed MASCAC Baseball Player of the Year as Baseball Lands Six on All-MASCAC Teams

Framingham, MA – Framingham State senior outfielder Ryan Boyle (Arlington, Mass.) has been selected the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Baseball Player of the Year as the Rams land six student-athletes on the All-MASCAC Teams in voting conducted by the league's coaches. 

In addition to being chosen Player of the Year, Boyle is a first team selection, while first baseman Daniel Robichaud (Dracut, Mass.), third baseman Dane Frellick (Fairview, NC), outfielder Lucas Basile (East Haven, Conn.), designated hitter JC Espinal (Peabody, Mass.) and utility infielder Robert Johnston (Watertown, Conn.) have been named to the second team. 

Boyle, a three-time All-MASCAC first team selection, earned Player of the Year honors after hitting .403 during his senior season with 17 doubles, three triples, two home runs and 34 RBI. Boyle finished the season ranked second in the MASCAC in average and fifth in both OBP and slugging. Boyle, selected All-Region as a sophomore and junior, finishes his career with a .368 average and 178 hits including 40 doubles, six triples, 19 home runs and 124 RBI. 

The 2024 Rams finished the season 16-19 overall and 14-7 in league play. The Rams captured a share of the 2024 MASCAC Regular Season Title for the second straight season.
