Baseball Falls to William Paterson in Seven Innings

Auburndale, Fla. - The Framingham State University baseball team was defeated13-0 by William Patterson this afternoon in non-conference action at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational at Lake Myrtle.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • William Paterson's Robert Nathan tossed a seven inning no hitter against the Rams this afternoon surrendering just two walks with eight strikeouts. 

  • Joshua Sunderland took the loss for the Rams and went 2.2 innings allowing 10 runs, four earned, on 10 hits with two strikeouts and two walks. 

  • Alexander Montero went 3.1 innings in relief allowing just one earned run on one hit with a strikeout, while Matthew DeCarney allowed one earned run in one inning of work. 

  • William Patteson took the lead in the top of the first on an RBI double and added three more in the second pushing the lead to 4-0. 

  • William Patterson tacked on six in the third to reach a ten run differential and added three more runs in the final two innings.
