Silva Named MASCAC Offensive Player of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Senior quarterback Matt Silva (Dracut, Mass.) has been selected the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Offensive Player of the Week for the week of November 1^st.

Silva garners his third offensive player of the week nod this season after completing 29-of-43 passes for 383 yards with a school record six touchdown passes in just three quarters of action.  Silva surpasses the old mark of five which was held by four players, including Silva who had achieved the feat five times.  Silva completed touchdown passes of 30, 9, 27, 14, 6 and 12 yards in the Rams 54-25 win over Mass. Maritime.
