Barron and Williams Earn MASCAC Football Weekly Honors

Framingham, Mass. - Sophomore defensive lineman Korrey Barron (Rockwall, TX) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Football Defensive Player of the Week, and junior defensive back Amari Williams has been tabbed the MASCAC Special Teams Player of the Week for the week ending September 7th. 

Barron tallied five tackles, including one for a loss, another which resulted in a safety and blocked the attempted game winning field goal in the final seconds of the fourth as the Rams defeated Anna Maria 31-25. 

Williams returned the blocked field goal for the game winning touchdown with no time remaining in the game to secure the victory. Williams added a sack in the game and a pass breakup.
