Football To Host LaGrange in Opening Round of 2025 NCAA Tournament
Framingham, Mass. – After receiving the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference's (MASCAC) automatic bid to the 2025 NCAA Division III Football Championship Tournament, the 2025 MASCAC Champion Framingham State Rams will be hosting LaGrange in a first round game on Saturday, November 22nd at Bowditch Field at noon.
The Rams will be making their seventh overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament and first since 2021.
Framingham State finished the 2025 regular season 7-3 overall and a perfect 7-2 in MASCAC. The Rams finished the regular season tied atop the MASCAC standings with Anna Maria and Plymouth State who also went 7-2 in MASCAC action. The Rams received the MASCAC's AQ by virtue of the league's tiebreaker policy.
The Rams were led offensively by freshman quarterback Michael Marcucella who ranked second in the MASCAC in yards per game and touchdown passes. Wide receiver Mathias Fowler finished the regular season first in the league in touchdown receptions and second in yards per game.
This will be the first meeting between Framingham State and LaGrange College.
The Panthers finished the season 9-1 overall and perfect 7-0 in USA South play claiming their first conference championship since 2008.
Tickets for the game will be sold at the gate and are cash only with prices - $10 for Adults - $5 for Faculty, Staff, Students w/ID - $3 for Senior Citizens and Children.
The game will stream on ESPN+ and can be viewed with a subscription to ESPN+.
