Bio

Andrew MacKay is entering his third season with the Framingham State College football program and his first as an associate head coach. MacKay, who also coordinates the Rams football recruiting efforts, worked with the linebackers in 2008 before serving as defensive coordinator in 2009.  In 2007, MacKay coached the running backs at Norwich University.  Prior to that, he coached the quarterbacks at Assumption College and was the linebackers coach at Massachusetts Maritime Academy. 

MacKay is a 2006 graduate of Nichols College where he began his career as a linebacker and then moved to the offensive line.  MacKay was selected the Bison's MVP in his senior season.  He is a graduate of Ashland High School where he was an All-League performer.  He currently resides in Northboro and received a masters degree in Public Administration from Framingham State in 2010.
