- Framingham State's Chloe Moynihan responded with an unassisted goal at 22:27, bringing the score to 2-1.
- Fitchburg State quickly regained control with goals from Leah Cavanagh and Kendall O'Brien, ending the second period 4-1.
- Fitchburg State continued their dominance in the fourth period, scoring four more goals to secure the 8-1 victory.
