Nashua, N.H. – The Framingham State field hockey team faced a tough battle on the road, falling to Rivier University 3-1 on Thursday night at Joanne Merrill Field.

- Framingham State quickly responded at 9:40 with an unassisted goal by Mikayla Malmquist, tying the game at 1-1.
- The game remained tied through the second period, with both teams showing strong defensive efforts.
- Rivier regained the lead in the third period at 43:53 with a goal from Mary Kelley, assisted by Brianna Spinelli.
