Engineers Pull Away in Second Half, Top Men's Basketball 83-67
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. – Isaac Dobie poured in 32 points to lead MIT past Framingham State 83-67 Wednesday evening at Logan Gymnasium, handing the Rams their third loss of the season.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- First Half: Framingham State came out strong, taking an early 5-2 lead on a Vondre Chase three-pointer and a Joshua Saint Jean layup. MIT responded with a 17-3 run to build a 19-8 advantage, but the Rams clawed back. Domonick Victor drilled a three-pointer with 1:11 remaining to give Framingham State a 35-34 lead heading into the break.
- Second Half: MIT seized control early in the second half, using a 12-4 run to take a 50-41 lead. Dobie was the catalyst, knocking down three triples during the stretch. The Rams never got closer than eight the rest of the way as the Engineers pulled away down the stretch behind Dobie's continued dominance.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Dyree Rogers: Led the Rams with 15 points on 3-8 shooting while going 9-9 from the free throw line. Added 4 rebounds and 3 assists.
- Domonick Victor: Came off the bench to score 11 points on 5-10 shooting with a three-pointer and a steal.
- AJ Thompson: Provided energy off the bench with 10 points on 4-5 shooting, adding 2 steals and a block.
- Vondre Chase: Contributed 10 points including two three-pointers, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists.
- Team Stats: The Rams shot 40.0% from the field and struggled from beyond the arc at 25.0% (7-28). Framingham State shot 76.2% from the free throw line and was outrebounded 32-31.
