Strong Second Half Propels Men’s Basketball to 77-66 Victory over Westfield State

Westfield, Mass. - The Framingham State University men's basketball team outscored Westfield State 42-25 in the second half as the Rams erased a six-point half time deficit to secure a 77-66 victory over the Owls this evening in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action at the Woodward Center.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams saw a trio of players tally double figures in the game led by a team-high 24 points from Fallou Koite. Koite connected on 8-of-18 from the floor including 4-of-9 from beyond the arc. 

  • Dyree Rogers finished the game with 21 points on 8-of-13 from the floor. Rogers grabbed three boards and added two assists and two steals. 

  • Vondre Chase finished the game with 14 points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block. 

  • Lorenzo Washington chipped in with seven points, eight rebounds and two steals, while Joshua Saint Jean finished the game with six points, eight rebounds and two assists.
