Men's Soccer Picked Seventh in MASCAC Preseason Poll
Framingham, Mass. – The Framingham State University men's soccer team has been picked to finish seventh in the 2025 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Soccer Preseason Poll as voted upon by the league's head coaches.
The Rams return a young core of impact players from last season, highlighted by forward JackHolt led the Rams in scoring in 2024. He posted 11 points on five goals and an assist, including a game-winner. Defender Abdellah Eddahbi was a consistent two-way presence, contributing four goals while helping to anchor the back line. In the midfield, Kaio Santos Da Silva tallied six points on a goal and four assists while starting all 16 games.
In the 2025 preseason poll, Salem State lands in the top spot after earning four first place votes, while Bridgewater State sits second with the other four first place nods. Westfield State was chosen third, followed by Fitchburg State in fourth. Entering their first season in the league, Anna Maria was picked fifth, while Worcester State checks in at sixth just ahead of the Rams. Rounding out the poll are MCLA in eighth and Massachusetts Maritime in ninth.
The Rams open the 2025 season under second-year head coach Adam Gabbard on Saturday, August 30th, when they host Lasell in a non-league matchup at 11am.
