Men's Soccer Shoots Past Elms 4-1

Framingham, Mass. - The Framingham State University men's soccer team received a pair of goals from John Holt as the Rams defeated Elms College 4-1 in non-conference action this afternoon at Maple Street Field.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams stuck first in the fourth minute of play as Holt converted a shot for an unassisted tally. 

  • Holt doubled the Rams lead in the 30th minute, converting off a feed from Kaio Santos Da Silva. 

  • The Rams used an unassisted goal from Isaiah Harris in the 57th minute pushing the lead to 3-0, but the Blazers got on the board in the 82nd minute cutting the lead to 3-1. 

  • Michael MacDougall converted off a pass from Ayoub Essaoui in 89th minute to reach the final margin. 

  • Colin Holt earned the victory in net for the Rams making five saves. 

  • The Rams held a slim 13-11 edge in shots for the game and a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks.
