Men's Soccer Edges Fitchburg in MASCAC Play

Fitchburg, MA – The Framingham State Rams secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over the Fitchburg State Falcons on September 20, 2025, at Elliot Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

• The Rams took an early lead in the 18th minute when Kaio Santos Da Silva scored an unassisted goal, his fifth of the season. 

• Framingham State doubled their lead in the 36th minute with a goal from Peter Miro, assisted by Kaio Santos Da Silva. 

• Fitchburg State responded in the 66th minute with a goal from Jason Job, assisted by Rick Da Moura, but the Rams held on for the win. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: 

• Framingham State outshot Fitchburg State 9-10, with 6 shots on goal compared to the Falcons' 4. 

• The Rams had 6 corner kicks, while the Falcons had just 1. 

• Both teams were aggressive, with Framingham State committing 31 fouls and Fitchburg State 14. 

• Kaio Santos Da Silva and Isaiah Harris each received yellow cards for the Rams, while Fitchburg State had four players booked.
