Men's Soccer Falls to Curry in Non-League Play

Milton, MA – The Framingham State men's soccer team faced a tough battle on the road against Curry College, ultimately falling 1-0 in a closely contested match on September 23, 2025, at Walter M. Katz Field. 

THE BASICS: 

  • Score: Framingham State 0, Curry 1 

  • Records: Framingham State (4-4-0, 1-2), Curry (2-5-2, 0-2) 

  • Location: Walter M. Katz Field, Curry College 

 

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

  • Curry's Nick Silvia scored the lone goal of the match at the 32:01 mark of the first half, assisted by Aiden Grafton. 

  • Despite a strong effort in the second half, Framingham State was unable to find the back of the net. 

  • Framingham State's goalkeeper, Colin Holt, made five saves to keep the Rams within striking distance. 

 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: 

  • Framingham State registered nine shots, with four on goal. 

  • Peter Miro led the Rams with five shots, one on goal. 

  • Curry outshot Framingham State 15-9, with six shots on goal. 

  • The Rams had five corner kicks compared to Curry's nine.
