Men’s Soccer Blanked at Salem

Framingham, MA – The Framingham State men's soccer team faced a tough match against Salem State, resulting in a 3-0 defeat on September 27, 2025, at Alumni Field. Despite a strong effort, the Rams were unable to find the back of the net.

  • Records: Framingham State (4-5-0, 1-3-0 MASCAC), Salem State (4-3-2, 1-1-2 MASCAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

  • Salem State opened the scoring in the 31st minute with a goal from Matheus Pelissari, assisted by Jonathan Diaz. 

  • Just five minutes later, Salem State doubled their lead with a goal from Landon Picillo, assisted by Yuniel Sanchez. 

  • In the second half, Salem State's Stephane Fevry scored the final goal of the match in the 77th minute, assisted by Jonathan Diaz. 

 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: 

  • Framingham State's Kaio Santos Da Silva led the team with five shots, two of which were on goal. 

  • Salem State's Jonathan Diaz had a standout performance with two assists. 

  • Framingham State's goalkeeper Colin Holt made 11 saves, while Salem State's goalkeeper Marcelo Silva recorded four saves for the shutout. 

  • Framingham State had a total of 10 shots, with four on goal, while Salem State had 22 shots, with 14 on goal.
