Men's Soccer Falls to Suffolk in Non-League Play
East Boston, Mass. – The Framingham State men's soccer team faced a tough challenge on the road, falling to Suffolk University 4-0 on Tuesday night at James A. Sartori Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Suffolk opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a goal from Mohamed Mehaya, assisted by Zach Vlachos and Dylan Trachtenberg.
  • Mehaya struck again just three minutes later, this time assisted by Logan Hawley, to give Suffolk a 2-0 lead.
  • In the second half, Diego Pierantozzi extended Suffolk's lead to 3-0 with a goal in the 54th minute, assisted by Oliver Heth and Trachtenberg.
  • Francisco Valck capped the scoring for Suffolk with an unassisted goal in the 81st minute.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Suffolk outshot Framingham State 43-5, with 24 shots on goal compared to Framingham State's 1.
  • Framingham State goalkeeper Colin Holt made 20 saves in the match.
  • Suffolk's Ian Caldwell recorded one save to earn the shutout
