Henniker, N.H. - The Framingham State men's soccer team fought to a 2-2 draw against New England College in a thrilling match on Tuesday evening at Don Melander Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • New England College opened the scoring early in the first half with a goal from Eddy Nyemah at the 7:35 mark, assisted by Patrick Tewksbury and Jack Labroad.
  • Framingham State responded with an unassisted goal by Isaiah Harris at 36:30, leveling the score at 1-1.
  • Just before halftime, New England College regained the lead with a goal from Don Irankunda, assisted by Anthony Ruggiero, making it 2-1 at the 42:00 mark.
  • In the second half, Framingham State's Landon Medeiros found the back of the net at 62:31, assisted by Graham Tinkham, to tie the game at 2-2.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Framingham State outshot New England College 18-11, with 11 shots on goal compared to New England College's 8.
  • Isaiah Harris and Landon Medeiros each scored for Framingham State, with Medeiros also contributing four shots on goal.
