Men's Cross Country Chosen to Finish Third in 2025 MASCAC Preseason Poll

Framingham, Mass. - The Framingham State University men's cross country team has been selected to finish third in the 2025 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Cross Country Preseason Poll in voting conducted by the league's six head coaches. 

The Rams slid into the third spot with 16 overall points after finishing fourth at the 2024 MASCAC Championships. Returning for the Rams is sophomore Aaron Corlette who earned all-conference honors during his rookie season with the Rams. Corlette finished ninth at the 2024 MASCAC Championships which also earned him MASCAC Rookie of the Year honors. 

Bridgewater State was slated to win the league with 24 points and four first place votes, while Westfield State claimed the second spot with 22 points and the remaining two first place votes. Fitchburg State placed fourth just behind the Rams with 13 points, while Mass. Maritime (nine points) and Worcester State (eight points) rounded out the poll in fifth and sixth. 

The Rams open the 2025 season on Saturday August 30th at the Keene State Alumni Meet.
