Carpenter Named MASCAC Player of the Week
Framingham, Mass. – Junior outfielder Gwendolyn Carpenter (Ashley Falls, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Softball Player of the Week for the week ending April 16th.
Carpenter earns her first player of the week honor this season after hitting .667 (12-18) with three doubles, two home runs, six runs scored, 11 RBI, 1.167 slugging percentage and .727 on-base percentage in a 5-1 week for the Rams. Capenter went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI in a win over Babson. She went 3-for-6 with a double and RBI in sweep of UMass Boston and closed the week 5-for-5 with two homers and seven RBI in sweep of MCLA.
