Gauthier Named MASCAC Softball Pitcher and Rookie of the Week

Framingham, Mass. - Freshman pitcher Audrey Gauthier (Dexter, Mich.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Softball Pitcher and Rookie of the Week for the week ending March 23rd.     

Gauthier went 4-0 with a save posting 2.05 ERA and striking out 42 in 27.1 innings of work in a 7-1 week for the Rams at the Spring Games. Gauthier's week was highlighted by a complete game three-hit shutout with 13 strikeouts against regional powerhouse Endicott. Gauthier added complete game wins over Middlebury and Augsburg, tallying 18 strikeouts through those two performances and added a win and a save in relief including two perfect innings against Bowdoin.
