Minor Tabbed as MASCAC Women’s Basketball Co-Player of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Senior forward Kia Minor (Edgartown, Mass.) has been selected the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Basketball Co-Player of the Week for the week ending February 3^rd.  Minor shares Player of the Week honors with Bridgewater State's junior guard Jenna Williamson.   

Minor, who earns her second Player of the Week honors this season, averaged 19.5 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals in a 1-1 week for the Rams.  She racked up a double double of 23 points and 10 boards in a 95-63 setback at Bridgewater State and tallied 16 points and six rebounds in a 90-63 victory over Fitchburg State.  Minor shot 70% from the field for the week, connecting on 19-of-27 shot attempts.
