Salve Regina Completes Weekend Sweep of Women’s Ice Hockey

Framingham, Mass - The Framingham State University women's ice hockey team suffered a second straight loss to Salve Regina by a score of 8-1 this evening in non-conference action at Loring Arena.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Seahawks got on the board just eight minutes into the game add two more in the first to lead 3-0 after one period. 

  • The Seahawks added a power play goal in the second before the Rams got on the board on an unassisted tally from Rylee Bogren. 

  • Salve Regina added four in the third to reach the final margin. 

  • Lila Chamoun took the loss between the pipes for the Rams and made 46 saves 

  • Salve Regina held the advantage in shots on goal and went 3-for-3 on the power play.
