Women's Lacrosse Chosen to Finish Second in MASCAC Preseason Poll
Westfield, Mass.— The Framingham State University women's lacrosse team have been chosen to finish second in the 2024 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Lacrosse Preseason poll in voting conducted by the league's coaches.
The Rams received one first place vote and 29 total points. A season ago, the Rams were 5-2 during conference action. In 2023, Hannah Guerin earned All-Conference honors for the third time in her career after notching a league leading 76 goals on the season. Guerin also led the MASCAC in points (100) and was fourth in assists with 24 on the season.
Westfield State claimed the top spot earning six first place votes for 47 points in this year's poll after going a perfect 7-0 in MASCAC play last season. Bridgewater State is third with 26 points in this year's poll. Landing in fourth with 23 points is Worcester State, while Mass. Maritime and Fitchburg State claimed the fifth spot with 12 points apiece and Salem State rounds out the poll in seventh with nine points.
