Women’s Lacrosse Slated to Finish Second in 2025 MASCAC Preseason Poll

Framingham, Mass. – The reigning MASCAC Regular Season Framingham State University women's lacrosse team has been slated to finish second in the 2025 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll in voting conducted by the league's coaches. 

The Rams were chosen to finish second in the poll tallying 31 points and a single first place vote. Returning for the Rams are the duo of Leah Green and Molly Lanier who were both second team All-MASCAC selections a season ago.  Green tallied 63 goals and 16 assists during her junior season, while Lanier scored 41 goals with seven assists.  

Westfield State claimed the top spot in the poll with 35 total points and five first place votes.  Bridgewater State secured the third spot with 25 points and the final first place vote, while Worcester State slipped into fourth with 22 points.  Fitchburg State claimed the fifth spot with 16 points, while Mass. Maritime (11 points) and Salem State (seven points) rounded out the poll in sixth and seventh.  

The Rams open the season on February 22nd at Western Connecticut.
