Lanier and Houlihan Earn MASCAC Women’s Lacrosse Weekly Honors
Framingham, Mass. - Midfielder Molly Lanier (Tyngsboro, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week and defender Kaleigh Houlihan (Franklin, Mass.) has been selected the MASCAC Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending March 9th.
Lanier tallied six goals and an assist with eight draw controls and seven ground balls in a 1-1 week for the Rams. Lanier tallied four goals and a helper in the Rams 10-7 victory over Wheaton College and added a pair of goals in a loss to Plymouth State.
Houlihan earns defensive player of the week honors after collecting seven ground balls and four caused turnovers on the week. Houlihan recorded five ground balls and four caused turnovers in the victory over Wheaton.
