Worcester, Mass. – The Framingham State University women's soccer team battle Worcester State University to 0-0 double overtime tie this evening in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action.
With the draw, the Rams are now 5-2-1 on the season and are 1-0-1 in the conference, while the Lancers move to 4-2-2 overall and are an identical 1-0-1 in the MASCAC.
Senior Sara Sullivan (Quincy, Mass.) recorded the shutout making seven saves against the Lancers as the Rams played their second double overtime game of the week. The Lancers outshot the Rams 15-6 in the game, but Sullivan was the difference stopping everything that came her way.
Jillian Witkowski made four saves for the Lancers who held a 4-0 edge in corner kicks for the contest.
The Rams are back in action on Wednesday at home when they host Roger Williams at 4 p.m.
