Women's Soccer Tabbed to Finish 6th in 2025 MASCAC Preseason Poll

Framingham, Mass. – The Framingham State University women's soccer team has been predicted to finish in sixth place in the 2025 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Soccer Preseason Poll as voted upon by the nine MASCAC head coaches.  

The Rams picked up 31 points in the poll after a 2-4-1 MASCAC record in 2024 and an overall record of 4-15-1. Returning for the Rams is sophomore Hailey Ring who tallied a team best five goals and an assist for 11 points in 2024.      

Bridgewater State landed in first place with six of nine possible first place votes and 62 total points. In the second spot is Westfield State with two first place votes and 58 points which places them just ahead of Worcester State who comes in third with the final first place vote and 50 points. Sitting in fourth is Fitchburg State with 43 points followed by Salem State in the fifth spot with 34 points. After the Rams, finishing out the 2025 women's soccer poll in seventh is Mass. Maritime with 19 points, MCLA in eighth with 15 points and in their first season as a MASCAC institution is Anna Maria in ninth with 12 points.    

The Rams open their 2025 campaign on Saturday, August 30th when they host Lasell at 2 pm.
