Women's Soccer Runs Past Salem State; 2-0

Framingham, MA – The Framingham State women's soccer team secured a decisive 2-0 victory over the Salem State Vikings in a MASCAC match held at Framingham State on September 26, 2025.

  • Records: Framingham State (3-4-2, 2-2-0 MASCAC), Salem State (5-3-1, 2-2-0 MASCAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

  • First Half: The Rams took the lead in the 38th minute with an unassisted goal by Ana Serrano, putting Framingham State ahead 1-0. 

  • Second Half: The Rams extended their lead in the 67th minute when Sophia Thimm scored after a rebounded shot by Melissa Romeiro, sealing the 2-0 victory.

  • Saves: Framingham State 6, Salem State 8 

  • Corner Kicks: Framingham State 6, Salem State 1 

  • Savannah Goba earned the win for Framingham State, making 6 saves and securing a clean sheet. Ava Guyer took the loss for Salem State, recording 8 saves.
