Women's Soccer Cruises Past Fisher
REVERE, Mass. – The Framingham State University women's soccer team closed out its non-conference slate with a commanding 3-0 shutout over Fisher College Wednesday night at HDR Stadium. The Rams controlled the match from start to finish, outshooting the Falcons 40-2 and securing their sixth win of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Senior Abigale King opened the scoring in the 31st minute with her first goal of the season, capitalizing on a loose ball in the box to give the Rams a 1-0 lead at the half.
- Just under three minutes into the second half, Sophia Thimm doubled the Rams' advantage with a well-placed strike off a feed from Isabella Fischer.
- Thimm struck again in the 69th minute, finishing a setup from Melissa Romeiro to notch her second goal of the night and third of the season, sealing the 3-0 victory.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Framingham State dominated offensively, firing 40 total shots, including 18 on goal, while limiting Fisher to just 2 shots.
- Sophia Thimm led the Rams with two goals on four shots on target.
- Abigale King and Isabella Fischer each contributed to the scoring effort, with King netting her first goal and Fischer adding an assist.
- Goalkeepers Amelia Finley and Savannah Goba combined for the shutout, with Finley making the Rams' lone save of the night.
