Bio

The 2021 season marked the first season back on the sideline for the Rams. Linnehan is a 1994 FSU graduate and a member of the men’s soccer team during his four years at FSU. After graduating, he returned as the assistant men’s soccer coach and held that position from 1996-1999 before moving on to Mount Ida College and served six seasons as an assistant there.

Prior to returning to FSU, Linnehan spent the previous four years as the girl’s varsity soccer coach at Uxbridge High School. During his time at Uxbridge, Linnehan’s 2018 Spartans were conference champions and Central MA District 4 Champions.

In addition to his FSU responsibilities, Linnehan is also an assistant coach with the New England Mutiny, a semi professional team who play in the United Women’s Soccer and is also a premiere club coach for the Scorpions Soccer Club.

Linnehan is a MIAA/MSAA Certified Coach and holds several USC (United Soccer Coaches) diplomas. He also holds his National ‘D’ License from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and is scheduled to finish his National ‘C’ License in June of 2022.

Linnehan lives in Uxbridge, MA with his wife Shannon who is also an FSU alumni. They have a daughter, Eilish, who plays soccer at the University of New Haven (CT).
