Women's Outdoor Track Returns to Action with Solid Finish at BSU Invitational
Bridgewater, Mass. – The Framingham State outdoor women's outdoor track and field team returned to competitive action this morning after more than a year and had a strong showing at the BSU Bears Invitational.
THE BASICS:

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Sophomore Delaney Sherman was solid for the Rams in the throwing events placing second in the discus with a toss of 28.21M and third in the javelin with a toss of 25.9M.
- Olivia Yancey and Mollie Pimentel placed fifth and sixth for the Rams in the shot put with tosses of 8.88M and 7.5M.
- On the track, Eliza Weisse placed second in the 10,000M run with a time of 43:06, while teammate Camille Carvalho finished third at 45:05.
- Patrice Haney finished fifth in both the 100M and 200M dashes with times of 13.78 and 28.87, while Emily Newcomb placed fifth in the 800M with a time of 2:41. Teammate Katie Hayes finished sixth in the same event crossing the line at 2:44.
