Women’s Track and Field Opens 2025 at Corsair Classic

North Dartmouth, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's outdoor track and field team opened the 2025 season this afternoon at the Corsair Classic hosted by UMass Dartmouth.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

• The Rams opened the 2025 season this after at UMass Dartmouth and were led by a first place finish from Kate Buban. Buban crossed the line first in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 39:38.17. 

• The Rams received a solid day from Jamie Moniz. Moniz placed seventh in the javelin with her toss of 31.29M and an eighth place finish in the triple jump as she jumped 9.65M. 

• Kaylee Beck led the Rams in the throwing events with a seventh place finish in the shot put with her toss of 10.14M. 

• Other top performances for the Rams were Natalia Grimaldo who finished fifth in the 400M hurdles at 1:11 and Sarah Campbell who finished the 5,000 with a time of 21:30..
