Women’s Track and Field Places Eighth at Jim Sheehan Meet

Fitchburg, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's outdoor track and field team placed eighth this afternoon at the Jim Sheehan Invitational hosted by Fitchburg State.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

• The Rams placed eighth at the meet this afternoon with 29 total points and were just five points behind Maine-Fort Kent who secured the seventh spot with 34 points. 

• The Rams saw three runners finish in the top 10 of the 1500M run. Kate Buban crossed the line in third with a time of 5:29.39, Grace Avery finished seventh at 5:35.30 and Camille Graffeo crossed ninth at 5:47.44. 

• Meghan Johnston finished sixth in the 400M run with a time of 1:06.13, while Jamie Moniz finished third in the 400M hurdles at 1:13.49. 

• Alyssa Caputo picked up a fifth place finish in the discus with her toss of 27.58M and Justine Pickard finished fifth in the 5000M run at 21:09.
