Women’s Track Competes at Ed Daniels Invitational

Hooksett, NH - Led by a first place finish from Kate Buban in the 5,000 the Framingham State University women's outdoor track and field team competed at the Ed Daniels Invitational hosted by Southern New Hampshire.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • Buban paced the Rams with her first-place finish in the 5,000-meter run as she crossed the line first with a time of 18:39.93. 

  • Meghan Johnston had a strong day on the track for the Rams as she finished second in the 1500M run with a time of 5:09.97. 

  • Grace Avery finished third in the 3,000M steeple chase with a time of 13:05.53. 

  • The Rams saw four runners finish in the top eight of the 400M run with Natalia Grimaldo finishing fifth, Stella D'Ambrosio finishing sixth and Cassandra Toth finished in seventh. 

  • In the field events, Jamie Moniz finished fifth in the triple jump (9.73M) and seventh in the high jump (1.42M), while Lydia Marunowski finished seventh in the triple jump (9.55M).
