Women's Track and Field Places Fourth at MASCAC Championships - Beck and Buban Win Events

Bridgewater, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's outdoor track and field team placed fourth this afternoon at the 2025 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Championships hosted by Bridgewater State.  Distance runner Kate Buban won the 10K and thrower Kaylee Beck won the hammer throw.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams placed fourth as a team as they amassed 90 total points on the day led by the wins from Beck and Buban. 

  • Beck had a solid day for the Rams in the throwing events. Beck finished first in the hammer (44.06M), sixth in the shot put (10.73M) and fourth in the discus (30.75M). 

  • Buban crossed the line first in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 41:03.17. 

  • Jamie Moniz had a strong performance in the field events for the Rams finishing third in the javelin (33.48M), sixth in the high jump (1.46M) and fifth in the triple jump (9.74M). 

  • Alyssa Caputo gave the Rams a third-place finish in the shot put (11.06M) and a second-place finish in the discus (34.30M). 

  • Natalie Grimaldo placed second in the 400M hurdles (1:08.15) and sixth in the 100-meter run (13.46), while Stella D'Ambrosia finished sixth in the 400 meters (1:03.59).
