Buban and Moniz Named to Women’s Outdoor Track and Field All-Conference Team

Framingham, Mass. - Junior distance runner Kate Buban (Wrentham, Mass.) and junior field athlete Jamie Moniz (Swansea, Mass.) have been named to the 2026 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Outdoor Track and Field All-Conference Team after their performances at the 2026 MASCAC Championships last week. 

Buban earned All-MASCAC honors for the second time after repeating as the MASCAC Champion in the 10,000m run.  Buban, who has won the 10K at several meets this season, crossed the line at 39:12.74 which was more than four minutes faster than the second place finisher. Buban once again qualified for the 10K at the DIII New England meet this weekend. 

Moniz earned her first All-MASCAC honors after winning the javelin this past weekend at the MASCAC Championships. Moniz claimed the top spot with her throw of 35.61m (116-10 ft) which was over three meters further than the second place finisher.  Moniz also finished fourth in the triple jump and high jump and seventh in the long jump and has qualified for the javelin at the DIII New England meet.
