Volleyball Rallies for 3-1 Victory over Mass. Maritime in MASCAC Action

Framingham, Mass. - After dropping the opening set, the Framingham State University volleyball team rallied to take three straight tightly contested sets and secure the 3-1 victory over Massachusetts Maritime Academy this evening in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action at Logan Gymnasium.

- Records:  Framingham State (6-13, 1-2 MASCAC), Mass. Maritime (3-15, 1-2 MASCAC)

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

• The Rams dropped the first set 25-22 before sealing the victory with three straight sets by scores of 25-17, 25-22 and 25-20. 

• The Rams were paced on the attack by a match best 18 kills on 40 attempts from Natalie Reynolds who also added three digs in the match. 

• Emma Dobbins also chipped in with double digit kills as she recorded 10 on the night with two blocks and two digs, while Sarah Medeiros and Hope Verhoeven chipped in with seven kills apiece. 

• Madysen Cedrone led the back row play with a team-best 22 defensive digs to go along with two kills. 

• Anneli DiVirgilio added 19 digs, two aces and an assist, while Stella Bailey finished the match with 48 set assists and seven digs. 

• Carly Beaulieu chipped in with 15 digs and three aces, while Jaimee Lowe finished the match with 12 digs.
