Women’s Cross Country Places 5th at 2024 Western New England University Women’s Invitational Cross Country Meet

Springfield, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's cross country team led by a top 15 finish from Kate Buban placed fifth this morning at the 2024 Western New England University Women's Cross Country Invitational hosted by Western New England.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: 

• The Rams as a team finished fifth with 136 total points and were just three points behind SUNY Cobleskill who finished fourth with 133 points. 

• Buban was the Rams leading finisher as she crossed 11th with a time of 24:05 for the 6K course. 

• Meghan Johnston followed next for the Rams in 16th with her time of 24:45, while Grace Avery just missed the top 20 as she finished at 25:05. 

• Rounding out the top five for the Rams were Natalie Grimaldo (26:03) and Camille Graffeo (27:08).
