Women’s Cross Country Finishes Third in MASCAC Championship

Leominster, MA – The Framingham State women's cross country team had a strong showing, finishing 3rd overall with a score of 68 points at the 2024 MASCAC Championships. 

THE BASICS:

- Location:  Doyle Conservation – Leominster, Mass. 

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

  • Junior Meghan Johnston led the Rams, securing 11th place with a time of 20:19.61.  

  • Sophomore Kate Buban closely followed, finishing in 15th at 20:52.41, and sophomore Natalie Grimaldo came in 16th with a time of 20:57.43.  

  • Freshman Grace Avery placed 17th with a time of 21:04.39, showing great promise in her first championship.  

  • Sophomore Camille Graffeo completed Framingham's scoring five, crossing the line in 27th place at 22:13.46.  

  • Sophomores Cassie Toth and Justinne Quinanola also contributed solid performances, finishing 35th and 36th respectively, helping to solidify Framingham's third-place team position.

The Rams will return to action at the NCAA Regional on Saturday, November 16th
