Women's Cross Country Slated to Finish Third in 2025 MASCAC Preseason Poll

Framingham, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's cross-country team has been tabbed to finish third in the 2025 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Cross Country Preseason Poll in voting conducted by the league's seven head coaches and announced by the conference office this afternoon. 

The Rams claimed the third spot with a first place vote and 25 total points after finishing third at the 2024 MASCAC Championships. Returning for the Rams is Meghan Johnston who just missed all-conference honors as she finished 11th at the MASCAC Championships in 2024. 

Westfield State took the top spot in this year's poll with 34 points and four first place votes, while Bridgewater State took second with the remaining two first place votes and 31 points. Worcester State took fourth behind the Rams with 20 points, while Fitchburg State fell into fifth with 17 points.  Rounding out the poll in sixth place is Mass. Maritime (14 points) and MCLA in seventh place (six points). 

The Rams open the 2025 season at the Keene State Alumni Meet on August 30th
