Women's Cross Country Finishes Fourth at Western New England Invitational

Springfield, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's cross country team led by a top five finish from Kate Buban finished fourth this morning at the Western New England Invitational

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: 

  • The Rams placed fourth with 126 points, which was just behind Salve Regina University who claimed the third spot. 

  • The Rams were led by a fourth place finish from Kate Buban who crossed the line of the 6K course at 23:14.70. Buban set another personal best this season with her performance today and broke her own school record by 14 seconds. 

  • Meghan Johnston secured a top 20 finish as she crossed seventeenth with a time of 24:27.76. 

  • Natalie Grimaldo was the third Rams to finish as she crossed at 25:14 and was followed by Grace Avery who finished at 25:31. 

  • Justine Pickard rounded out the top five for the Rams as she finished at 25:57.
