Scott VanderMolen is entering his fifth season as the head coach of the Framingham State University men's and women's cross country teams.
VanderMolen’s previous coaching experience includes a stint at Elms College with their cross country program and at Tully High School with their track and field program. VanderMolen is certified as an Endurance Event Specialist and as a USATF track and field coach.
VanderMolen ran cross country and competed in track and field for the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, earning all-conference honors in the A-10. Additionally, he was a member of the school record holding 4x800m team. He clocked in with the 3rd fastest 800m time in school history.
