Paxton, MA – The Framingham State field hockey team secured a thrilling 5-4 overtime victory against Anna Maria at Caparso Field Saturday afternoon. The Rams were able to overcome a second-quarter surge by the Amcats to claim the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Framingham State took an early lead with goals from Natalia Roehr and Finley Hogan in the first quarter.
- Anna Maria responded with three goals in the second quarter, including two from Madison Marie Romano, to tie the game at 3-3.
- Reese Neale scored for the Rams in the second quarter, assisted by Mikayla Malmquist, to regain the lead.
- Anna Maria's Morgan Beane tied the game again in the second quarter, and Romano's third goal in the third quarter gave the Amcats a 4-3 lead.
- Roehr's second goal of the game, assisted by Malmquist, tied the game at 4-4 in the third quarter.
